Back again in 2026!!!!  This session will be a gameshow style panel that shows cut corners, poor workmanship, and installed measures that will make you say 'what were they thinking!' This will be an informal educational experience that talks about the natural consequences that are caused when we don't stop and think about what we're doing.

This year is a little different though. This year we are going to bring in 4 audience guests to provide feedback on installations and win some prizes!! It could be you!

This session will serve as a great reminder as to why we do what we do and what happens when you make strikingly obvious mistakes in a customer's home. We all might laugh a little and question what we're seeing, but we will certainly walk away with a new perspective and motivation to do things better. We're excited to bring back the first-ever gameshow-style panel to NHPC and hope to see you there!

Learning Objectives:

By attending this session, attendees will:
  • Learn about natural long-term consequences to installing measures with poor workmanship
  • Engage with a variety of weatherization professionals to better understand the right way to install certain measures while discovering resources available to provide support to field staff
  • Certainly walk away scratching their heads while saying what did I just see in hopes that these mistakes are simply avoided in the future
