Ed is the Manager of HVAC Design Education at the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), bringing more than 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry. His background includes over 15 years of hands-on fieldwork and more than 25 years as an educator. He draws on this extensive real-world experience to educate and inform audiences nationwide on a wide range of HVAC topics.
Known for his approachable and insightful teaching style, Janowiak is equally comfortable leading seasoned industry veterans or guiding new technicians just entering the trade. He is deeply committed to raising the bar for system design and plays an active role in shaping HVAC standards.
Janowiak serves on several ASHRAE technical committees, including 62.2, 4.1, 41, 221, and 5.2, where he contributes to the development of industry standards. He also holds a Master HVACR license in the state of New Jersey. While some of the topics he covers may seem technical, his delivery is anything but dull.
