Nancy Kaplan has been with the Building Performance Institute for seventeen years and is the Director of Workforce Development. She works with many organizations to foster the growth of a diverse workforce and to create awareness of the home performance industry as a viable career opportunity. She focuses heavily on the BPI Building Science Principles and Healthy Housing Principles reference guides and Certificates of Knowledge as ways of introducing individuals seeking careers in energy efficiency and existing building improvement to the concepts of home performance, house as a system, and the impact of our living environment on our health.
