VaShawn Johnson

VaShawn Johnson serves as the Weatherization Training Manager for the IREC-accredited Indoor Climate Research & Training (ICRT) division. With 13 years of field experience and a suite of BPI certifications—including Energy Auditor, Quality Control Inspector, Multi-family Building Analyst, and Healthy Home Evaluator—VaShawn is a master of home performance technicalities. However, it is his gift as a storyteller that truly sets his sessions apart. Known for weaving humor and touching personal anecdotes into his presentations, VaShawn makes complex building science both accessible and unforgettable. He has recently joined the BPA Board of Directors participating in the Finance, DEI, and Workforce Development committees.
