Meredith Derr has 15 years of experience in federal grant management and compliance. She leads the development of complex funding strategies and program implementation for resilience and innovation projects with a focus on the energy sector. She has supported state and local agencies and utilities with securing and implementing more than $10 billion in federal grant funding across programs funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She develops funding strategies and compliance programs that further energy resilience, innovation, and clean energy while ensuring cross-cutting federal regulations are met. Previously, Meredith led a Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR)-funded homeowner recovery and resilience program to ensure compliant distribution of more than $4 billion in recovery funding and developed an appeals process to bring tens of millions of dollars into compliance.
