Matt Slimskey serves as Vice President of Production at Halco, bringing more than 21 years of hands-on experience in the construction, HVAC, and plumbing industries. Raised in a construction environment, he developed an early foundation in the trades that continues to inform his practical, solutions-driven approach today. In recent years, Matt has also played a key role in workforce development, focusing on adult education and training the next generation of entry-level heat pump installers.
Matt joined Halco in 2009 as a service technician and has since advanced through a variety of roles, building a deep and comprehensive understanding of field operations. As Vice President of Production, he leads system design and installation strategy while overseeing daily field operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency across teams.
He holds a wide range of industry-recognized credentials. Matt is an accredited proctor and trainer with the ESCO Institute, a proctor for North American Technician Excellence, and an accredited installer through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. He is also a NATE-certified technician with specialties in heat pumps, gas and oil heating, hydronics, and air conditioning, and is certified in light commercial air balancing and diagnostics by the National Balancing Institute.
