Devon Cooper currently serves as the Operations Manger for the Ohio Weatherization Training Center at COAD (Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Ohio Development). For this role, Ms. Cooper is responsible for interfacing with agency personnel, funding administrators, fiscal personnel and training staff for the OWTC. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Training Center and its two hubs across the state of Ohio. This includes scheduling, reporting to funders, maintaining all supplies, marketing and promotion. She coordinates large-scale administrative tasks, event management, training logistics, while ensuring efficient program execution and fiscal responsibility.
Ms. Cooper also manages the accreditation for the OWTC for entities such as the EPA, Ohio Department of Health and most currently IREC. She also pursues future endeavors and training in states such as West Virginia, Kentucky and Michigan for contract training.
Devon is passionate about fostering team collaboration and professional growth while ensuring that those services meet both organizational goals and the needs of the community. Living in Appalachia her entire life, she hopes to continue to better the lives of those in the community that need it the most. She holds a B.S.S in Public Administration and Political Science from Ohio University.
