Carolyn leads ClearlyEnergy’s commercialization efforts, working with stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that advance climate goals. A Certified Building Operator and former Facilities Manager overseeing 85 public buildings, she brings deep expertise in building operations, stakeholder engagement, and energy policy implementation. With over 20 years of experience, she has supported states and communities in the design and adoption of residential and commercial energy policies, including home energy labeling and assessments, residential codes, benchmarking, and building performance standards. Previously, she provided strategic leadership at Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP). Carolyn has chaired state and national energy boards, received multiple awards for climate policy leadership, including the U.S. Department of Energy Jeffrey A. Johnson Award for Advancement of Energy Efficiency Buildings, the CHPS Green Apple Award, and an EPA Children’s Environmental Health Award. She holds a BS in Psychology from Salem State University and a BPI Building Science Principles Certificate.
