Rico Johnson is a premier Weatherization Trainer, Energy Auditor, and Residential Rehabilitation Leader specializing in building performance, infrared thermography, solar integration, and workforce development. As a Strategic Curriculum Development Trainer at Indoor Climate Research and Training (ICRT), he currently develops and teaches the Training Certification Program (TCP) courses, embedding advanced building science and thermography into national training standards.
Rico holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida A&M University and maintains multiple industry credentials, including BPI Multifamily Building Analyst, BPI Energy Auditor, NABCEP Solar PV Associate, and the IHWAP Training Certificate. With over 15 years of construction and development leadership and experience as a formerly Licensed Residential Contractor and Real Estate Broker — he brings a comprehensive 360-degree perspective to the industry.
