Gary Duden is a Senior Weatherization Trainer at the Indoor Climate Research and Training (ICRT) division of the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission (RPC) in Champaign, IL. Gary has nearly 40 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including at the family company started by his brother in 1989. Gary specializes in new HVAC installations, retrofits, service, sales, and training. At ICRT, Gary provides expert training to the members of the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) network, emphasizing energy efficiency and hands on practice to enhance their knowledge and skills to help their clients decrease their energy burden. Gary is certified by the Building Performance Institute. His goal is to continue teaching and training to the best of his ability, with the mindset of always having the willingness to learn more.
