William serves as Vice President of Sustainability at Clayton Homes, a leading builder of attainable housing.

Since joining Clayton in 2021, William has headed the company’s national sustainability initiatives, including supporting the expansion of ENERGY STAR® and DOE's Energy Efficient New Homes™ programs across Clayton’s manufactured and site-built home portfolio.

William’s vision centers on building homes that are not only energy-efficient but also affordable and environmentally responsible. His work aligns with Clayton’s mission to “open doors to a better life” by delivering innovative housing solutions that benefit the homeowners and communities that Clayton serves. This requires leading enterprise-wide efforts to help drive building innovations, advance home energy efficiency, reduce construction waste, and embed responsible practices throughout Clayton’s operations.
