Chrissi Antonopoulos is a Senior Building Scientist in the residential group focusing her work on the advancement of energy- and carbon-neutral buildings. Dr. Antonopoulos' research is primarily focused on residential buildings, with an emphasis on building systems science, indoor air quality (IAQ), urban heat and wildfire impacts, and embodied carbon. Dr. Antonopoulos also leads behavioral studies focused on decision-making in residences. She has published field studies related to IAQ and ventilation in homes, building technology adoption and building lifecycle assessment. Chrissi has a BS in Business Economics, and an MS and PhD degrees in Urban Studies from the Toulan School of Urban Studies & Planning at Portland State University.
