Once the load calculation is complete you now have the information you need to choose the right-sized equipment and designate total system airflow.  Once those decisions are made, you can now obtain the room-by-room airflows to use for the duct system design including supply and return terminations.  This session will walk participants through how to choose equipment from equipment manufacturers expanded performance data.  How to determine total system airflow and how that airflow gets divided to become the room-by-room airflows.  How to use room-by-room airflows to design the duct system and choose supply and return terminations.

Learning Objectives:

By attending this session, attendees will:
  • Learn how to read expanded performance data to choose right-sized equipment based upon the load calculation output
  • Gain practice in designing a duct system to match room-by-room airflows
  • Experience choosing supply and return terminations based on velocity, throw and noise criteria
