Environmental Health Scientist Healthy Indoors Training and Consulting Lawrence, Kansas
Assessing homes for environmental hazards is always a puzzle. In this interactive workshop, attendees will be divided into teams to participate in interactive discussions of real-world cases of how specific indoor environment conditions can lead to significant health impacts for people with unique vulnerable conditions. We will review environmental histories, results of home assessments, and different types of environmental data through a series of steps to work toward a set of recommendations for one of three different clients, each with a different type of chronic health condition that makes them vulnerable to indoor environmental exposure. The goal of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for discussion of real-world cases and the best approaches for trying to improve environmental conditions in their home with the goal of providing better health outcomes.
